Stack Viewer utility?

Postby LuckMan212 » Tue, 21 Feb 2006, 21:31

maybe I am missing something, but I find that it would be extremely useful to have a floating window showing stack contents while nnCron is running a task, for debugging purposes. I often scratch my head for long periods because I am making stupid mistake not knowing that there is extra value on the stack messing up my task, etc.

It would be great to have, in the "Tools" menu,

Maybe it could look something like this:
"freeze stack contents" checkbox will hold stack values in the box even after they are moved from the stack. "clear stack" will erase the stack, similar to 0SP from console.

There is very good word to view stack content: .S
This word writes entire stack to stdout (nncron.out)
