Starting nnCron lite as program and not as service

Postby Lautrec » Fri, 28 Apr 2006, 10:47

Hi, I am a beginner.

What is the advantage to run nnCron lite as a program and not as a service?

When I want to try, I know i I have to ad "-ns" to the cron.exe in the command line.

I realy don't know how to do it. I tried to ad a command in commandpromt, nothing...

Creating a shortcut to "C:\Program Files\cron\cron.exe -ns" is not accepted.

Who can explane me or where can I find a good tutorial for my problem?

Wbr

Example of my commandprompt:

No advantages. This mode is useful when user can not launch nnCron LITE as system service.

So, what were you expecting? First make sure you have stopped the nnCron LITE service. Then you can start nnCron LITE with '-ns' comand line switch.
