Php page and nnCron Lite

Postby Ciccio » Tue, 09 May 2006, 15:57

I'm trying this on nnCron Lite:

* * * * * * C:\Programmi\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe http://localhost/folder/file.php

It doesn't work.
I've made some mistakes or nnCron Lite doesn't support it?

Moreover, can I program a mysql dump with nnCron Lite?

1. Are there any messages in logs\*cron.log?
2. Try to add quotation marks:
Code: Select all
"C:\Programmi\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" http://...
.

Ok. I've seen I've typed 6 * instead of 5.

But is there a way to do this operation without open the browser?
In other words, can I run a php script without open the browser, running it in background?

Another little question.

I've done a script that create a mysql dump so with cron I open the php page and I obtain a dump file.

Is it possible to save it in a dedicated folder without indicate it everytime to my browser?

In other word, when nnCron execute the file, the browser ask me where I want to save the file.
This means that nnCron becomes unuseful for me!

What can I do?

create exec.php
exec.php >>

fopen ('http://localhost/folder/file.php')
?>
