Disable Hotkeys for a particular application

Postby fade » Sun, 09 Jul 2006, 17:42

Is it possible?
I want to catch the hotkey @f for example so that nncron can run a task but
the I want the active app to not reveice that hotkey (so it doesn't open the file menu). (@f is just an example)
Can I achieve something like that with nncron?

Thanks in advance

As far as I know the nnCron has higher priority than most of other Windows application when handling hotkeys. So, there are good chances, that if you define a WatchHotKey in nnCron, the same hotkey will stop working in other apps.

Not quite, I've tested that also...

Alt+F (@f) should open the File Menu in most apps.
So I catched it, and in many apps (if not all) although the File menu
does not fully open (as would normally occour without nncron's catch)
it is "activated" and then a simple Down Arrow press opens it...

I think that sending an escape key press (after catching @f) should resolve that, if anyone needs it.

Thanks
