ERROR PASS # 87

Postby WBeulink » Thu, 07 Feb 2008, 00:21

We have been using NNCron for a very long time now and we never found any bugs or problems.
Just a few days ago NNCron stopped starting tasks on one machine (W2003).
The logfile contains many lines:
04:30:00 10072 ERROR PASS # 87
04:45:00 10072 ERROR PASS # 87
05:00:00 10072 ERROR PASS # 87
05:15:00 10072 ERROR PASS # 87
05:30:00 10072 ERROR PASS # 87
05:45:00 10072 ERROR PASS # 87
05:49:00 10072 ERROR PASS # 87
05:56:00 10072 ERROR PASS # 87
When I stop and restart NNCron everything is fine again for a few hours.

I added some tasks a few days ago. Is there a limit to the number of Tasks??
This specific machine has some 50 seperate NNCron-tasks defined.

Any help out there?

No, there is no limit to the number of tasks.

Check, please, if one of the recently added tasks have smth like:

LoadProfile
User: ... Password: .... Domain ... LogonInteractive

If so: try to comment this out and write back if this helps.

HI Valery,

Not one but all my tasks are run by a specified users ie; GSF-NNCron.
"GSF" is my company short and most or all tasks need some special rights (like running backups).
So thats why.

I will check if there are any typos but erver since yesterday evening, when I decided to restart the W2003-box, the problem didn't reapear!
So maybe there was something wrong there.

By the way. Problem was more or less anounced by some (3 to 4) restarts of NNCron (as found in eventlog). Didn't have this any time before.

I will check and let you know!

Thanks for the prompt answer!
