running task does not complete when re-editng its .tab file

Postby alexanjo » Thu, 01 Dec 2005, 10:48

I have a .tab file with a series of tasks that are all intiated at different times. If one of the tasks has started and then I then re-edit the .tab file by modifying a different, non-running/-active task, the currently running task seems not to complete. If no re-editing of the .tab file occurs during the running task, it completes. Below is an example of a task in question.

Please advise,

#( play_dn
Time: 00 09 * * 1-5 *

1 TO full_screen
0 TO day_shift
close_media_apps RUN
play_democracynow RUN
PAUSE: "00:59"
close_media_apps RUN
after_dn RUN
start_winamp RUN
start_message_board RUN

When nnCron notices, that one of the crontabs was changed it automaticaly reloads them at the top of the next minute. The tasks which are currently running are terminated after the specified amount of time.

You can tune up this behaviour using the following nncron.ini variables:

ReloadImmediately <ON/OFF>
CompleteTaskTimeout: <time_in_ms>
