Can't Logon User. The parameter is incorrect.

Postby hokie » Fri, 29 Oct 2004, 16:17

I'm getting an error when trying to run a task as another user. When setting up the cron job I did the following:

Title: Sync
Daily, 23:30
Active
Run as User
Name: XXXX
Password: XXXXXX
Domain:
Logon Type: Batch

Under the "Action" tab I am running an application or opening a document and it starts as a service.

When trying to start the task i get the error message: "Sync: Can't Logon User. The parameter is incorrect."

Does anyone have any suggestions? THanks in advance for the help and a great product!

-Matt

The user XXXX has the following User Rights Assignments under Local Security Policies

I think this problem is described in the docs (Working with nnCron - Tasks - Authorization): "In Win2000/XP, using option LogonBatch for some reason results in an error message Can't logon User. Error # 87. Use LogonInteractive instead".
